My thoughts on the Ramaphosa/Trump encounter.
This is unashamedly a LAYMAN’S VIEW.
Apart from the fact that it looked like a meeting in the headmaster’s office, there are dynamics that NON SOUTH AFRICANS would miss:
the EFF debacle: Malema continues to be untouchable with regards to his racist laments so Trumps ‘hijacking’ of the meeting in this regard was ‘clever’, However it PALES IN COMPARISON TO THE TACIT COLLUSION WITH GENOCIDE IN GAZA so the point he makes, falls FLAT ON ITS FACE. This of course, does not absolve Ramaphosa for his ‘turning a blind eye’ to the race baiting so prevalent in the EFF lead by Malema. This is basically the ONLY WAY Malema gets any attention, so out comes the racist card when needed to cover his much larger leadership failures.
Ramaphosa missed an EXCELLENT opportunity to call dtRUMP out against GENOCIDE. Politely, of course. dtRUMP actually opened the door for this option with this ‘hijacking’. Being ‘polite’ under these circumstances amounts to submission. Not to say that dtRUMP is not intimidating….but one thing he does understand is ‘one-upmanship’ - look how he treats the GHOUL.
The ‘success’ of this ploy was to put Ramaphosa on the backstep psychologically but Ramaphosa could not hide his ‘he has no idea of South African dynamics’ look he gave his delegation.
It is totally NAIVE of Ramaphosa to bring along the golfer and the globalist from SA. Neither of them are politically savvy anyway, so this was totally futile and a waste of taxpayers money. I doubt they paid for the trip.
I personally find it reprehensible that SA has any dealing whatsoever with dtRUMP and is doing so purely because of his position in global affairs, and for no other reason. SA is not unique in this regard.
Both parties are complicit in the covid fraud so, in essence, they are partners in crime.
And one of the richest men in SA - Rupert - pleads with dtRUMP to help curb crime!! REALLY? Since WHEN does any foreign leader give a shit about crime ANYWHERE? The ISOFA is the CRIME CAPITAL OF THE WORLD.
I could not make head or tail concerning Steenhuizens input, but then the DA have always been a ‘filler’ organisation and is just as responsible for the LACK OF VISION we have had to deal with these last THIRTY ONE years of ‘freedom’….not to mention the complicity in the covid scam.
I missed the point of this meeting entirely. Exactly what did Ramaphosa want or need of this captured country? Starlink?
Ramaphosa needs to get a delegation together and meet with TRAORE from BURKINA FASO. Just SITTING in that leaders presence is TUITION ENOUGH!! Our ‘leaders’ are desperate for REAL LEADERSHIP with positive guidelines….
